How it all works. 

Me... being a cast member for 8 years,

You realize that the majority of cast members,

sooner or later eventually give up on some of the 

rules or procedures aren't worth confronting a guest over.

You start out trying... then give up.

Not worth the confrontation. 
And... Everybody's happy. 
Go figure.
