Sometimes... Ya just gotta say...
What the hell is wrong with people.
Why is the marine to blame?
The facts:
A man suffers from ongoing mental illness.
He has a history of crimes, including assults.
He has 42 prior arrests.
He currently has a warrant for his arrest for assault.
He has 42 prior arrests.
He currently has a warrant for his arrest for assault.
NOW...
He assults people on the subway.
He was subdued by an ex Marine to control his assult on others.
He actively resists and remains under controlling restraint.
He dies as a result if his assault, resistance, and resulting restraint.
SO... WHICH TO BLAME?
SO... WHICH TO BLAME?
According to protesters the ex Marine is at fault.
Perhaps they would feel differently if the marine had saved them from being assulted.
Perhaps they would feel differently if the marine had saved them from being assulted.
Why is the marine to blame?
42 arrests and a current outstanding warrant for assault.
Mentailly unstable with an ongoing record of assults.
So, given his mental issues and criminal arrests... Why is he not been placed some where to get treatment... where he is not a danger to himself, and a danger to others?
That is the question? And who us to blame? The justice system that failed to take reasonable and appropriate action long before now.
PROTESTERS SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON THE JUSTICE SYSTEM AND PROTEST THE SYSTEM THAT CONTINUES TO NOT TAKE ACTION. They are not doing justice to those with mental issues or the public at large. Police and the public should not have to deal with an ongoing problem of those with deminished mental capacity ... Which doesn't work out for those affected, or those that have to deal with them. Yet many would say that they shouldn't be put away. They also say that they are not responsible for their actions. They say anyone, police or others, that have to deal with them, and it turns out badly ... Everyone is to blame except the mentally impaired.
People need to wake up.
Of course this is merely my perspective... all be it that I am beaten down by logic reasoning and common sense.
