I guess that's the politically correct way to categorize how people feel and relate to everything and anything that they find offensive.
Generally... too many people seem to find just about everything offensive... particularly the younger Generations.
In the past, if we didn't like something we simply didn't go there, didn't read it, didn't watch it... And if we didn't want our kids to see it or read it, we took control as parents and monitored and controlled what they were doing.
Today... taking responsibility for yourself and kids is not as simple as avoiding what you don't like and monitoring you kids. People feel the need to change anything that is not to their liking. Rewriting history... Rewriting books... and condemning and removing anything that they find offensive. And they find a lot of things offensive. Problem is not everything is offensive to everyone. So what some would change, others would not. Thus the controversy.
Rewriting history and rewriting books because of the "emotional sensitivities" and insecurities of some people... well... Perhaps it's time for them to simply grow up and stop being emotionally offended by everything. Control yourself and guide you kids away from things that are not to your liking. Not call for censorship that affects everyone.
