Political Agendas

Political Agendas 

Political Agendas are nothing new,  and not limited to either political party.  They all have agendas, usually that are in their own self interests.

Now... I pretty much don't care what either party does... They are going to do what they want anyway. But when they focus and obsess on any one agenda, while letting important issues that adversely affect Americans and the economy... well... That's a problem. 

It's bad enough that the two political parties can not get anything done working together.  

So... For 2 years before Trump was elected the democratic party put all their effects to oppose him. The four the 4 years he was in office,  they spent all their efforts to oppose him. Now, 2 years they have spent all their efforts to oppose him. All the while negelecting important pressing issues that need their attention.

Now, after repeated attempts to oppose him, democrats want to get ride of the electoral college, so that the popular vote is all that matters... in yet another effort to oppose Trump. 

The reason that we have an electoral college is to prevent the major states like California, New York, and Texas from controlling the popular vote and dictating policy / laws upon the other 47 states. The other 47 states will virtually have no say or representation.  

So... When will this end?  Both sides have preverted politics so completely that it is no longer fixable. And it not the three American voters are stupid... They only have the two choices... The two bad choices to elect leaders... Especially to Congress.

But to each their own beliefs and perspectives.
