Annoyed with media news
Not sure why I do it, but when I first get up in the morning I'll watch the morning news... Just for a while.
In the news today...
"DC policeman found guilty of second degree murder in 2020... While he was chasing on foot, someone riding their scooter on the sidewalk without a helmet... and that person ran/rode away from police, and was hit by a car and killed", while fleeing.
If this story is NOT taken out of context, and it is in essence the whole story... well, there's lots of questions about this.
Like... Why would the person on the scooter run? ... and did they not solely contribute to their own death because of their action? And how is that murder by police?
So why would anyone want to be a policeman in cities? They say that the District of Columbia is now the highest crime rate per capita in the country. People comdemn all police... protest for defending police... and the result is not better trained police, but less officers, increased crime, and the people yell about raising crime.

For several years... Instead of fixing a smaller issue, they over reacted condemning all police, do not cooperate in any capacity with police, fail to follow any police directives... and don't assume any responsibility for their part in negative consequences... and are now seeing the cause and effect.
Glad I don't live anywhere near the cities.
