New Year's Eve Celebrations
We have enjoyed many years of New Year's Eve Celebrations. How many? Well, doing the math... 50 years as adults. So we have pretty much seen it all. Lately, we enjoy simply staying home watching the festivities on the tv, while enjoying homemsde crab cakes and steamed shrimp. So... What was the best of the best?
It's Kinda like food... Once you've had a great steak, chicken hot dogs holds little interest. Everything from big city fireworks to the charm of small town parades, festivities, and fireworks. Then there's the best of the best that were so great that nothing beyond them could ever come close.
The best of the best for us... 2004 through 2014... at Disney World. Nothing has or will ever compare to New Years Eve at Magic Kingdom. ( Not sure how it is now, so many things are less at Disney now days). The combination of Disney Magic... the theme, the decorations, the parades, the rides & attractions, the character greets, the heart pounding music, and the utmost spectacular fireworks show... Nothing else even comes close. Especially when the grand finale that was so over the top including a 360° all around you fireworks display that was only done on New Years Eve. The only way to be kind to everything that followed was to to use terms like "quaint" and "charming". In any event... pictures are indeed worth a thousand words.
