Reminders

We all need reminders… about all sorts of things that we want or have to do. Sometimes I think the best reminder is to slow down and stop, look around, and enjoy what nature has to offer. Take in a beautiful scenic view… hears the sounds of nature, birds chirping and bees buzzing… the smell of the flowers - ahhh, the honeysuckle… feel the cooling breeze that brings you the breath of life… see the movement all around, the leaves gently moving in the wind… enjoy the explosion of colors, and the ever changing sky at sunset… watch the clouds drift effortlessly across the blue sky. And maybe even enjoy some fresh berries or a flavored coffee while treating yourself to all of this. Ahhh… simple and wonderful. Clearing the mind and restoring the soul. Think how wonderful it is to experience such beauty. Thankful in the knowledge that in terms of the Earth, we are all here but a brief moment in the vastness of time, but can enjoy this for all of our lives… yes, all of our lives. The Universe and the Earth are an ocean, and we are but a grain of sand in the whole scheme of things. In time, we as humans will be wiped away, almost as if we never existed, more or less like the dinosaurs, and the 98% of what once existed, that is now gone forever. But we have our entire lives to enjoy what we have, while we have it. Tens of thousands of years and we are still here… at least until nature or a higher power to be, deems that mankind may not be worth saving… and the Earth starts over again with a different plan. But for now, we get to enjoy life however we like… so take those moments to enjoy nature… take it all in… make it a part of you… it will make your life richer way beyond what the 9-5 could ever get you. Here’s a few great moments to get you started.
