Population Decreasing...

Apparently,  the government is worried about the rapidly decreasing birth rates in the country.

I saw some information recently... not sure if it's true (social media posts)... but it gave statistics on the rapidly decreasing birth rates in the country. Concern over the declining population.  Another post indicated that the government was going to promote and encourage more child births by offering a $5,000 birthing bonus. SOUNDS ABSURD/ COUNTER PRODUCTIVE GIVEN THAT GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO CUT HANDOUTS.

GUESS THE INTENT IS TO DEVELOP MORE WORKERS, TAXPAPERS, AND TROOPS.

Now here's an idea... all those illegal immigrants that pose no threat... fast track them to citizenship... make them legal... increasing the work force, taxpapers, and still have the ability to provide troops for this country that can't live without wars. (I know that stopping wars sounds simple, but often necessary to prevent future issues). Greatly reducing ICE enforcement. Population increased quickly. Reduced expenses to fight the war on illegal immigrants,  and save on whatever government handouts that social media says the government is giving to them. 

But why worry about the population... Isn't Elon Musk advancing AI and robots to work in the workplace, do jobs no one wants, do dangerous jobs, go into space to colonize, and also be military troops? BUT, what to believe?

So many things are upside down, and just plainly screwed up with government and politics... I pretty sure it can never be fixed unless the mostly self serving corrupt political system is completely over hauled.

Very well done... as good, if not better

and that was short lived.

Too many good shows say good-bye.

There are symbols on everything. 

I use to think is was to convey a universal identification to comprehend in any language.

 I think I was wrong.

Then I thought that is was to make stupid people know what to do since they can't comprehend the written word. 

Now I think that it was develooed by extremely smart people to make everyone else feel stupid.

Funny... ha-ha. 

Even when you read an instruction manual,  symbols are incerted in place of words in the middle of the sentance. What the hell does does that symbol mean... and why the hell dint they just use the word that symbol represents? 

I've truly had it with symbols!

It hasn't worked my entire life. 

"It wasn't me" ... Didn't have a snowballs chance when  I was a kid. Being an only child there was no one else to blame... so "it wasn't me" wasn't going to fly. Pretty much the same way later in life. And now... Not even worth the breath to say, no one is gonna believe me. Go figure... I don't know why. Even when it says it on my hat.. nope! Not only do I get blamed for stuff I do... But blamed for stuff I don't do. It's like a natural reaction... poppy did it! The grand girls somehow learned to say that when they were only two years old... And never stopped.

And how is it that they say I always have that look on my face?  That "guilty look"? That's my natural look... I look that way all the time. Just can't win. It's not that I lie! Not all the time! I need a Snickers... And some bacon.

Memory

Memory is a funny thing...

Sometimes even a mystery.

Okay... being older... mostly a mystery.

What your brain chooses to remember. 
And how fast it recalls that information. 
Seems to vary greatly... getting older.

You can quickly recall lots of stuff from childhood, 

and the next moment forget what you went

into the next room to get.

(sometimes, even across the room)

Can't think of something? 
Then it pops into your head 30 minutes later.

Then there's the world we live in today. 
You don't have to remember lots of things. 
Why? Because you can look it all up

at a moments notice via the internet.

So there's a multitude of things

 I don't need to remember.

And knowing this,  I don't even try.

Not a good practice to maintain good memory skills.

And I guess there's also the getting old thing. 
Memory just not as sharp as before. 

Kinda goes a long with concentration...

Lately... One thing at a time.

Interupt me while I'm doing something 

and you will derail my thought process, 

or find yourself totally ignored. 
or greeted with some degree 

of attitude for interupting me.

Yep... That's my life now.  

Add to this... choices.

There's a multitude of things that

I choose to not have to remember. 
Like... What day it is... I don't care.

What time it is... I don't care. 
Sad to say... but names,

Why... I don't care. 
Many , many things that are simply 

Not important to me to remember. 
Again, not a good practice for memory skills.

And, your brain knows this...

It's conditioned NOT to remember. 
So memory gets worse. 

So its really not a mystery...

I don't need to remember...

Because I don't care to.

One good thing... when planning to do something. 
Wait, think it through, sleep on it...

and the best solution will present itself.

Pushing through leads to poor results

and continued aggregation. 
Put it down and come back to it later. 
Many even the next day. 
Or next week.. or... 

And that's called... procrastination!

But that's an entirely another issue. 

If youre older... You know what I'm saying. 
If you're younger... It's all coming your way. 

Shoulda

It's absolutely clear to me now... I can't avoid it.

Freedoms

Sorry... every once in a while I'll briefly jump on the controversial band wagon . 

It's a neverending story. Some people want the government to dictate policy via laws to force people to comply with the beliefs of others. The lastest issue... ban young people/kids having access to social media. And while I agree with the detrimental impact of social media on younger Minds... it is not the responsibility government to enact laws against it. That is the job of the parents in the home... not the government.  People and government goes too far to force others to comply with their personal beliefs on a variety of issues. Personal freedoms are loosing in the country that seeks to control personal choices.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but not to impose them upon others.

Clearity

I guess to some degree I've always been this way, but let's say the last 20 years has clearly seen a swing to being less emotional and more philosophical, more clearity of thought, at least from my perspective ... perhaps more logical, more accepting of other perspectives, and don't see any benefit from any controversy. Perhaps the benefits of a more peaceful life away from the the 48 hour a week job of 30 years.  Time to think, reflect, and gather thoughts. Just another benefit from not being around people.... large crowds of strangers.

Country life, in the middle of farm lands, 12 miles to a small country town... peaceful and relaxing. Rving fulltime for 20 years provided the transition from the job life to finding a peaceful, content, and happier lifestyle. Best decision I've ever made. 

Stay tuned for more insights and words of wisdom. Btw... stop watching the news... It's not helping you... Unless you are into Chaos & controversy. What disturbing news would you hear today? In fact,  that's what they should call it... "the evening news and what's wrong today" and "locally, here's what's wrong where you live" ... "more bad news at eleven". Did you realize that "news" is an acronym?

History

History... just the facts please. 

Yes, it's a great discovery.  It is history... but human history?  Extraordinary achievements by humans.

Very questionable... seemingly impossible. Highly improbable. Yet that's the only explanation that science can offer... humans did it. Perhaps this comes from the overall superior level that mankind elevates himself to.

 
Discounting the written facts that every civilization around the world tells of ancient times, when the gods (aliens) came down from the heavens to accomplish things beyond human capability both in technology and in advanced knowledge. Great impossible achievements by human standards, that are accredited to humans. 

Well... believe what you will. And despite the lack of scientific proof, alien intervention is the only logical explanation for extraordinary knowledge and technology.  

Humans are accredited to achieving knowledge and technology beyond evolution of the time...

and accomplishing the impossible over years of time done in the most impossible hardest way.

Yep... Annoyed

Yep... annoyed.

Well, there certainly is more than enough stuff to be annoyed with. Holy shit stuff that's out of your control, so why bothered to be annoyed,  let it go. Everyday stuff that wants to go wrong,  so you stop take a break,  and go back to it later... You deal with it. 

Then there's the smallest of things that no one really cares about,  insufficient stuff that's naggingly annoying, that you would think could be, should be easily fixed, yet there it is, day after day. 

The toaster that has become complex that you need a degree to operate,  and still... setting #2 barely warns the bread while # 3 creates cinders.

The keypad on the microwave assumes you will always have the bright light on to see the keypad when it could be easily lit for low light situations, but lights up the time countdown until it reaches lava hit or explodes.

Then there's the turntable that never ends where it started no matter the run time. I heat up lots of things in a 2 cup glass measuring cup. Yep, the one with the handle...  that always stops with the handle to the back side, never the place it started, where you could easily grab it. Even watching the seconds it takes for each revolution, and setting the run time so that the turntable stops where it started... it will always stop with the handle facing away from you reach. Simple shit that's annoying that could be, should be fixed with easy programming.  

But the good news... if that's the only thing today that is annoying... even though it happens several times each day... well, I'm guess I'm ahead of the peaceful living curve. Blessed that the toaster, microwave, and air fryer controls that annoy the shit out of me... is the only issues that preplex my peaceful existence. 

Don't even get me started on the computer that seems to make things more complicated.  I miss Windows XP!

And lastly... why has everything changed from the written label for what things do to symbols. Everything thing is labeled with symbols. .. The universal language that everyone has to stop and think for a moment what the hell does that symbol mean? As simple as "On" and "Off"! Symbols are taking over. Cars, computers, even lawn movers... Symbols.  What the hell does this do? Look it up and remember it fort the next time.  

Well, its 2:30 am... I'm awake again. So that's my little rant on annoying things. I feel better already. 

Until I go to heat up my coffee in the microwave without turning on the bright light... and have to reach around the turntable to pick up the measuring cup.... While waiting for my toast to burn.
