Who's been oppressed

So... who's been oppressed.

Ever since that war that divided the States, divided society, divided family & friends... That division has been passed down generation to generation. Division that expresses its self as prejudice and persecution.  But that's a story into itself.  Being oppressed because of events 160 years ago.  There are lots of reasons to feel oppressed and experiencing prejudice... but those are products of today's issues... not the product of events 160 years ago.

But let's talk oppressed...
Of all the ethnic diversity in the country... People's from all over the world... and one group stands out above the rest... shouting that they are oppressed.... and blame it all on slavery.

So who's really been oppressed?
The indigenous native Americans. Who lost their lands, vast portions of their populations, the way of life, their traditions, and were repeatedly made promises by the government that were broken time and time again... then forced to live on reservations.

Just something to think about.
Who has the most to complain about?
Who shouts the loudest as if their situation
is unique and they deserve compensation?
