History

History

History is always written from the perspective of the conquerors.
It's always been that way throughout all history. Religious conquerors wrote history to favor their own perspective & beliefs, and to justify all their wrong deeds. European conquerors of America wrote history  again to favor their perspective and justify all the wrong deeds that were inflicted upon the indigenous Native Americans. Everything was justified... How Europeans took everything from native Americans ... Their lands, their way of life, the freedoms, and their lives... all justified by the conquerors.

By todays morality, the U.S. condemns and fights to free others from the same tyranny that was inflicted on native Americans 200 years ago.

To the conquerors goes the ability to write history from their perspective.

One of those historical facts is that Columbus discovered america. An out right falsehood. First Columbus was not the first European to travel to America.  Secondly, he only had it to the islands, but mainland america. But Europeans wrote the history, factual or not.
And even knowing the truth... we still have a national holiday celebrating Columbus.  Why? Europeans in America wrote history from their perspective.

How does any one get credit for discovering a land where people already exist?

History is not always as we have been taught.
