Winter is clearly here...

Cold... Cold... Cold... Forecast was 38°... Actual 17°.
So much for the forecast. 
Snow forecast yesterday... snow / rain mix.

We are right on the rain / snow line

Today's forecast ... 1"- 2"  OR 3" - 5" OR 6" - 8".

Stocked up and prepared (so long as we don't like electric)

The media building up the warnings. 
Road crews ready... Electric company ready... 

Walmart busy... milk, bread, salt, shovels, etc.

Memories from two winters ago when the I-95 corridor 

got 6-8 inches of snow and cars & trucks were stranded

On I-95 in their vehicles for 24 hours.

Our power was out for 86 hours 

and temperature was below freezing or days.

And while weather is taking the forefront in the news...

The federal government extra funding for a handouts 

Program called S.N.A.P. ended.

DC considered to continue extra funding.

Concluded the money was best used for other free programs. 
Mayor & DC government being sued over the

EXTRA free handouts ending.

News media interviewed a woman concerning the issue, 

She said that the regular funding & extra funding is greatly needed,

She depends on it and needs it.

She had this interview seated in her Cadillac Escalade.

And they will sue the government for the free programs

that ensure proper nutritional needs. 

DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE WHY THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN.
