Typical fill up... 20 gallons... $5.80

And, for that price... you got...

Ding, ding.... ding, ding.

You drove over the rubber line,

the bell would ring, and
4 guys would come out to help you. 
One to pump the gas.

One to wash windshield & headlights.

One to check oil & coolant. 
One to check air in tires.

And that's why they're called... The good old days.
