The Return...
If you are so inclined. Every religion in the world claims that their god or gods will some day return. This also means that all civilizations and religions acknowledge that god, gods, or intelligent beings not from this planet, visited or lived here in humanities past. And with scientific evidence, leaps in human evolution jumped forward several times in the past. No doubt with the help of interstellar beings. And still believeing in religions history and scientific evidence, humanity has been cleansed or weeded out several times. Like the great flood, with the purpose to have only one specific branch of humanity to survive.
So... assuming that "they" return, assuming "they" ever left, will they look at humanity as a sucessful experiment, or decide that they need to wipe out humanity, a failed experiment, and start over once again. Is humanity as a whole worth saving?
