The farmlands of Virginia in the Piedmont Valley in view the Appalachian Mountains in Shenandoah National Park. It's peaceful and relaxing living in the country. The downside, there's few places for shopping and few restaurants. But the there's a few saving graces, little gems near small towns that dot the land.
