Sunday NFL Football
What can I say... there have been many exciting games.
Being originally from Baltimore, The Baltimore Ravens will always be our home team. First there was the heart breaking loss to the Raiders. Our quarterback Jackson had a bad start to the season. His passes were mostly off on the first game. Plus he through two interceptions that both lead to Raiders touchdowns... and a Jackson fumble, again leading to Raiders points. No one was singing his praises that day. He was singularly responsible for the loss.
On to week number two. Playing the Chiefs. An uphill battle that again showed Jackson not as his best. A nail biter that we were gonna loose, blowing a lead, and if not for a last minute turnover by the Chiefs, on the certainly to score inside the 10 yard line, we would have lost... should have lost. Again much of this was on Jackson. Had we lost, there would have been several adjectives associated with his name.
Now, game three, another close game. Had a slight lead the entire game against the Lions. Jackson did better but his inability to get the get first downs, keeping the ball, resulted in giving it back to the Lions that took the lead. Other things contributed to the eminate loss. Receiver Brown dropped two passes, in the end zone, leaving points unrealized. Passes that he should have caught that would have gave us a comfortable lead. Also, Tucked missed an easy field goal earlier in the game. So we had another nail biter. Loins take the lead in the final 90 seconds if the game. They were certainly going to take the win. Ravens have the ball trying to move down the field but can not gain much ground. Lions 17... Ravens 16. We were going to loose. Last chance... last three seconds... Tucker has to make a 66 yard field goal to get the win. Tucker is really good... but the probability of success is almost hopeless. 3 seconds left. Tucked to kick a 66 yard field goal. The suspense is intense. Hike... set... the kick is up.

The ball seems to move in slow motion... the ball looks to be short... it hits the crossbar... pops up into the air... and tumbles through.
Score... Ravens 19... Lions 17. Ravens win! Tucked sets yet another NFL record. Checking my pulse... is it normal yet. I think not.
Ready for a games that are not nail biters.
