Impressed?

Impressed? Not too much. But it is what it is. Disney economy resort hotels. Falling into this category are the All Star Resorts ... Movies, Music, and Sports... along with the Pop Century Resort. There's a reason why they are referred to as "economy resorts". Their pricing is the lowest on property and usually has the more frequent bonus price packages. This is done to compete with off property hotels.  Off property hotels are simple rooms that are plainly rooms... a place to stay, sleep, and keep your things while you are out for the day. Disney economy resorts are very close to that experience.  While the resorts do have interesting themes that are peaceful and cute, they are nothing special when it comes to the rooms... But that's just my perception.  They are what they are,  and if economy pricing fits your budget requirements, they are still a step up from staying off property, plus you get some of the perks & benefits of being a Disney resort guest. Recent renovations and upgrades to the rooms still doesn't impress me very much even in comparison to moderate priced Disney resorts like Caribbean Beach Resort... which to me offers a more richer sophisticated themed experience, and not so much kid like experience that I get from the economy resorts.  But again,  that's just my preference.
Here's an excerpt & photos from one of my favorite Disney Facebook sites.... Disney Tourist Blog. But you be the judge for yourself as to what fits your budget needs. The rooms are certainly not invitingly decorated and the whole Murphy bed concept leaves me a bit cold. Disney Magic... Well,  that was left in the parks,  because it's not here in these rooms.
