Winter wonderland. I truly prefer warmer weather to enjoy nature, but you can still enjoy the beauty of nature in the winter time, even if only from the warmth of your car. Skyline Drive is a writer wonderland of snow and ice that has a beauty all of its own. Looking over the valley below covered in snow or seeing the frozen water falls emanating from the rocks gives you quite the different perspective. And even though most trees are bare for the winter, winter magic doesn't disappoint.
