Mountain trails... Shenandoah National Park... Dark Hallows Trail and Falls. One of the most visited waterfalls in the park. It's the shortest trail to any of the waterfalls and is just off of Skyline Drive ( 1.4 miles round trip) near Big Meadows... Map 50.7. It's well worth the walk... but the trail is steep. Going down is the easy part, getting back up takes a bit longer. As with any trail, good walking / hiking shoes is a real plus... And it's a good idea to carry some water. A hiking staff might also be helpful. Enjoy the view... nature at its best.
