Maryland crab cakes... The best ones are made with jumbo lump crab meat and just enough filler to hold the most together... 95% jumbo crab meat. So what's in a Maryland crab cake? Jumbo limo crab meat, two teaspoons of bread crumbs, spices and seasonings, and perhaps a touch of mayonnaise to hold it together.
Southern style... Bread crumbs 70%... plus tomatoes, celery, onions, green peppers, red peppers, and on occasion corn. YUCK!... DOUBLE YUCK! Oh... and some strands of crab meat that obvious fell in there by accident.
