Stones

Stones. Some people think that stones have magical powers, particularly crystals. Ancient people built temples, alters, and religious structures out of stone and adorned them with precious gems and magical crystals. gem-ethiopian-opal-geode Of course, in modern day, stones have special meanings… as in diamonds and other gems. Now, I don’t know about magical powers, and have little use for precious gems, but occasionally, you do see a special stone that just beckons. Beckons for you to pick it up, carry it with you, and a little voice that whispers and persuades you that good fortune or luck will be yours… if only you poses this marvelous stone.  amethyste_geode_1 We’ve all had that feeling, but, I’m not given to superstition. However, on a recent visit to the beach, I saw a rather large scattering of stones that seemed out of place. I would have expected to find them in a creek bed, but not at the beach. Never the less, my curiosity quickly subsided as I relaxed watching the waves gently washing up on the sand. I closed my eyes to relax. When I opened my eyes, the rocks had been strangely arranged and stacked. Only a few moments had passed… how did they get arranged? Magical… no. Supernatural? I don’t think so. But, never the less, there they were. Guess I’ll ponder this every so often searching for a logical explanation. Open minded, and consumed by logic…  when the possible is no longer explainable, and all that is felt is the impossible… no matter how improvable… the impossible is the only answer. Anyway, this is what I saw when I opened my eyes moments later.  Just something to consider.
