There's certainly lots of conjectures as to the end of the world... at least the world as we know it, as humans. There's only one that's a certainty, the cycles of the planet which has happened over millions of years. First and foremost, the Sun and planets. Once when the sun was hotter, Earth was too hot to support life. Mars was in the sweet spot for life, much like earth is now. As the sun cooled, this all changed. Mars froze as earth came into the sweet spot for life. And this too will continue, in millions of years. The sun will cool, earth with freeze, and Venus will become the sweet spot for life. If the sun doesn't destroy itself and the solar system parishes first.
Add to this the cycles of earth going into ice ages and heating up. Shifts in the magnetic poles, atmospheric changes, volcanic activity and nuclear winters. Not to mention asteroid impacts altering conditions for life. Sooner or later another Extinction leveler that will occur as it has happened five times in the past. 99% of all life on earth as gone extinct. Lucky for humans and the rest of life on earth, the process spans countless of millions of years. So while this cycle will always hang over us, perhaps there's little to worry about at this moment in time.
Then there's always on solution, another earth life planet that currently supports life with a sun and solar system that's more stable. Over 1,000 light years away, I'm not sure how this is a solution to human survival, except for a mere hundreds of space travelers, leaving billions on earth to parish.
But not to worry... why worry, there's nothing you can do about it anyway.
