Simply Controversial?
Is anything controversial... simple? Social media invites controversy, especially if its political or religious based. So if someone posts their beliefs on socially controversial issues... What happens?
From a merely simple perspective... They are simply expressing three views... freedom of speech. Others either agree or just let it go. But does it really work that way? Todays society is so tired of having issues and views pushed down their throat. Few can let it go without expressing counter views... adding fuel to the controversial fire. The smarter person will let it go. What the use of commenting? No one is going to change the others person's beliefs, and neither can accept opposing views. So eventually people will avoid controversial posts/people. Basically boycott certain people that continue to post political or religious controversial issues. One of the main reasons why social media platforms are loosing people/ participation. Like the old social etiquette saying... never bring up politics or religion... unless you want heated controversy. Think about how many friendships, even family, are damaged by social media controversies. Myself, I may glance over posts, personally agree or disagree... rarely make comments... never make opposing controversial comments... even though it would be easy. The truth is... rarely is anyone going to change the perspective of others ... It's a useless endeavor... no one is open to consider a different perspective. So... there we are.

BUT WHEN YOU JUDGE AND CONDEMN OTHERS
SPREADING HATE TOWARDS OTHERS
BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO LIVE THEIR
LIVES TO YOUR RELIGIOUS CONVICTIONS.
THAT'S THE PROBLEM!
