They say a rising tide floats all ships. Or in this case a rising tide will sink roads and cities. It's a natural cycle of the earth time and time again. The polar caps freeze and compound millions of gallons of water greatly reducing ocean depth. And as the polar caps melt the oceans rise. The high / low can range over one hundred feet. At one time all of Central north America, the plain lands from Texas to the Dakotas were all under water. And we are currently in the process of the polar caps melting and the ocean raising. Water front communities are already having issues under normal conditions, and extreme conditions with flooding events. Sooner or later, the oceans with rise as the natural cycles of the earth continue.
