Rule #51 ... Sometimes you are wrong.
This is a concept thats lost on way too many people. Is this an intelligence issue? An ego issue? An attitude issue? Perhaps a bit of all three with a narcissistic complex thrown in. Whatever the reason, people seem to find it hard or impossible to accept and admit to themselves the possibility that they are wrong about something.
There's only a few options... Something is a fact... or its totally untrue... or it's hearsay, something you read on the internet or heard from friends who heard it from a friend, that they accept as truth. How much of what you read on social media / internet is 100% the truth? Probably not as much as you think. Yet it's all taken as factual. Add to this, it's a know fact that if you repeat anything to yourself three times... well then, no matter the real truth, it MUST be true. It's probably human nature to want to be right... but many simply can not accept the fact that they are wrong about anything. And they will argue their point until you walk away. Some people are just never wrong, and yes this may seem sarcastic, but its an accurate observation.
