Reminders of things from 160+ years ago offends them... really?
Things that do not in any way affect their life offends them.
Things that offend some one else... they take up their cause and now it offends them too... again, doesn't affect them whether or not the issue stays or goes.
It's like they can't live unless they finding something to be offended by. No cause is too small.
It is what it is... being offended by issues that don't affect your life or things from history that can not be changed... is simply complaining seeking attention. Worse yet the news media keeps giving it credibility. Like those offended by civil war monuments to soldiers because of the slavery issue. As if removal of the monument will make their life any better. Then there's issues that stem from personal beliefs. Since they can not force their beliefs upon others they are offended. This is especially noticeable regarding religious beliefs
