Photo collages. The new digital version of scrapbooking. Combine photos, clip art, and text in a digital format to create one collage that can represent anywhere from 5-10 photos... or up to over 100 photos into one collage. The advantages... making digital photo colleges ... it doesn't cost any money, except for the initial cost of the digital camera ( I use a $129 Nikon pocket camera ), the computer that you already have, and the program that cost me $50. So how was this created? Old school on my old but still working computer running Windows XP with Microsoft Picture-it 10 program. I'm sure there's new updated program for newer computers. Another advantage... Storage, there is no physical storage like scrapbooking, it's all digital in your computer memory or portable memory cards, that take up absolutely no physical space... and you can share it all with friends or post.
There's also the simple versions that you can do with "apps" via phone or tablets... Quick and easy and simple to use... Like "Photogrid" which I use frequently.
He's two examples... Disney memories with about 100 photos made with picture-it and a easier simpler one made with Photogrid.
In any event... The whole idea is to have fun, be creative, enjoy, and share your creations.
