Yep….I’m Seein’ Stars… and that’s a good thing this time. It’s 6:30 am… still very dark… and it’s great to finally see Stars. After having the last 4 of 5 days being a all day and all night rain event it was finally nice to see a cleared sky. It’s been a rough week for several things. 1. All the rain, wind, hail, lightening and thunder. 2. No electric at the campground due to a lightening strike. 3. All the thunderstorms and tornado watches and warnings. 4. No water at the campground… due to electric being turned off… and the ensuing water alert to boil all water. 5. When electric & water were finally restored, another Rv forgot to unhook their utilities and ripped out the utility pole on their site disrupting water and electric again. Our site has not had any electric since Wednesday morning. But we were able to plug into the site behind us to share utilities with another Rv. We only have 30 amp service rather than the 50 we would normally have… but it was better than moving in the rain. Today they are suppose to fix our electric… and if that doesn’t happen we’ll have to make the decision to move to another site, so we can have full power to run both a/c units as not to endure the heat that’s expected to be back into the 80’s again. They say into everyone’s life a little rain must fall… so I guess it’s our turn… fortunately… mostly just inconveniences.
It’s sure good to see the Stars again…. clear skies!
