Grandchildren... the new #1's
GrandChildren... the new #1's.
The grandkids have a special place in my heart. Since I got my daughter, when I met & married her mother, she was already grown (18) and very much her own person. I never got the opportunity to have small kids. The 3 grand daughters win your heart again & again the more time you get to spend with them. Since we live 1000 miles apart, we can't see them as often as we would like. Last winter Brianna (2 years old) got to be with us for 4 months.... and then again during the summer. What a joy and delight. So many memories and images of the time we were together. So many things...but no doubt, the #1 thing that touched my heart, was went I was not feeling good, sleeping in the livingroom, and Bri came out to sleep next to me and said, "Don't worry Poppy, I'll take care of you".........priceless.
Next spring we are looking forward to having Kayla (4 years old) spend 10 weeks with us. She will be flying down with relatives and we will spend 2 weeks at Disney World, than 2 weeks at Myrtle Beach, and another 5 weeks or so in the Mountains of Virginia ( Hillsville). I can not wait!!!! We are going to have such great fun together. Though we will have her for a extended period to time, it will still seem so short... so I plan on making the most of every moment! Priceless times 2! The great things about full-time rving is the ability to have extended quality time, even though it won't seem long enough.
We consider ourselves truly blessed to be able to have each of the grand-girls for extended times. First Brianna....next Kayla... and later Elizabeth. Can not wait ! What a pleasant thought to have just before going to bed. Sweet Dreams to all the Grandgirls. Nite...nite! See you soon! xoxoxoxoxoxox
