Deceptions... yes or no?
Fast food photos.
Well, you could and would say yes... Absolutely yes... deceptive. But then again if the planets align properly, and you believe in magic, the answer could be no, wow, my sandwich looks just like the photo. What they picture in the photo advertisement never looks like what you get. On a scale of 1-10, ten being great just like the photo on the signed and ordering board ... You will be lucky to get a 6 at best. And if the people behind the production line don't give a ... well, you know... You will get something around a 3-4 or less.
So why do we accept this? Years of conditioning of not to expect to get that sandwich that's in the photo. It's almost like we see the phot... Order the sandwich... see its nothing like the photo... but believe in our mind that with each "delicious" bite, we imagine that everything is perfect, just like there photo. Talk about conditioning... or does it border on brainwashing?
Nevertheless... you will never get that sandwich that's in three photo. And you have been conditioned not to expect to... even though you are paying for that sandwich in three photo.
So what can you do? Two choices... Go on as usual... or like me, I rarely go to burger fast food anymore unless absolutely unavoidable. And when I do, just as you, I'm always disappointed.
Much higher prices. Help being paid more. And yet, the same crappy quality. It's like they don't even try to be consistently good. Our even occasionally good... They simply and clearly don't care.
Btw... Much like counter service food at disney, but with much higher prices. But that's another story.
