Listening

Listening... a lost art.

Some how in today's society, people have migrated to talking,

and lost the ability to simply,  at least occasionally,  listen. 

They are so interested in expressing their views

to the point where they are trying to tell you

that you should think as they do. 
And if you don't agree with them, 

they will talk even more to convince you that they are right. 

No one is interested in the prospect that there are other

Perspectives that are as valid as theirs.

( inconceivable )

Are they afraid that they conceivably could be wrong? 
Or trying to convince themselves that they are right? 
Sometimes I think they have the philosophy

That if they say it enough... It must be true. 

And what is truth anyway? 
It's completely diluted and obscured by 

The very sources that we get all our information from,

Considering that they all have their own agendas,
To influence you on how to think and how to feel.

Question everything...

Listen & learn...
