Time is a mysterious thing. Sometimes it seems to go so slow. Other times it flies by quickly. And sometimes, when looking back to 10 or 20 years ago, it may seem that it was so long ago, yet it also feels like just a while little ago.
Some things that happen are out of place in time. Other times, those same things are applicable in several different points in time. Listening to some favorite music from years ago... One song seems to be a perfect fit for today.
1987 R.E.M. " it's the end of the world as e knows it" ... Very applicable for today. Two years into Covid and society is more divided than ever, and it is very doubtful that things will ever be the world we once knew. Add to this politics, which has never created so much social controversy. And if we didn't have enough social turmoil, social media will prove our to be the largest contributor to a society at odds with each other, enabling and encouraging negative confrontational attitude.
Yep... It is certainly the end of the world as we knew it.
