Society Divided? ... Yes... Why? ...
Negative Social influences.
All pushing in the wrong direction.
So many influences that inadvertently alter our perceptions of society as well as our personal beliefs. Some people resist the negative social influences... While others let those influences rule their lives. And there inlies the biggest negative influence afflicting society... being told what to think, what to feel, and what to believe... And letting controversial or negative influences rule your life.
There are dozens of social issues. In the forefront are issues involving prejudice. An ongoing plague on society that shouldn't be... But will probably never be resolved. Todays problems blamed on histories worse moments. Blaming things from history 160 years ago will not revolve today's issues. Logically it should be so easy to stop prejudice... But there is nothing logical about society living on emotions fueled by misinformation and onslaught of controversial negative issues.
So, how do we survive? Stop teaching prejudice... stop influencing perception by adding to the fuel to the fire. There is good and evil in the world... Prejudice is evil... perpetrated by social influences.
Family, friends, classmates, coworkers... politics & politicians, religions, TV news media, movies, TV shows, social media, even commercials...
Everything is an influence in varying degrees. Some things are blatantly pushing social division... Some things are mildly perhaps not intentionally creating social division. Add to this, another socially detrimental attitude, everyone being offended by seemingly everything, and not willing to see our accept anything that differs from their views or beliefs. Wow... That's alot to digest.
