When I was 64 I met an older gentleman and his wife in the mail. Yep.. That's what I do. We talked about Medicare. He said... "young man, never leave the official government Medicare plan. All those other programs are a rip off... a con job". So I've always been with official government Medicare Parts A&B ( after all, I paid into social security all my life and Medicare for a good portion of it). I also have a supplement plan that pays what Medicare doesn't, except for an occasional $15 doctor visit copay.
Now you see all those commercials on TV telling you that you could save that $145 copay per month... plus get optical, dental, free rides, free meals, and much more.

BTW... are you annoyed with relentless phone calls from telemarketers? I use Hiya Mr. Number app to block calls. There's their data base, plus my personal block list which includes numbers and the ability to block entire area codes. The phone rings momentarily then cuts them off. More useful is the AT&T Call Protect app that blocks numbers in their data base, plus my personal list that's over 400... and the phone never rings. They can still leaves a message to voice mail, but never do.
