Why? Because people can not let anything go in today's society of:
Being offended by any opinion that is not the same as theirs.
The need to convince others that they are right.
The absolute need to have the last word.
The need to argue their point of view and beliefs.
The need to force their beliefs their beliefs upon others.
So.... Given today's society and the fact that most can not accept that others have the right to be different, believe differently, and have different views... They can not simply let anything go... Walk away... Live and let live.
This prevailing pattern of behavior in society is supported by politics, the news media, entertainment media, social media, and religion.
