I've always been interested in the civil war and the stories of not only the battles, but personal stories and accounts of the times. Sometimes you can get so into the moments in the battlefields that you can almost feel the concessions of the cannon, smell the gunpowder, and sense the rustling of the troops moving about... then there's the deep emotions of the events that once took place here... on this very spot in history. But that's just me. Here's a few photos and a little imagination....
