Christmas Past… Christmas Wishes from the Past…

with Candy, Lights, The Post, and Santa Coke
and Holiday Publications…
I remember those!
Hours of fun with the Mickey Books.
and Tv guide told you what was on all 3 channels.
And, now, for a closer look…
Now here’s a bit of history…
Perry Como, Nat King Cole, Eisenhower,
Elvis, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, wow only 15¢,
and Fidel Castro and his Orchestra!
So come over to our place to watch it all…
on our new Tv.
Bring food & drink…
and dress formal!
I remember Spray “Snow” and that “silver tree”,
and the Santa Lantern…
(no 911 back then, had to call fire dept directly)
but did you know that with a handy vacuum
you could snow blow your tree?
(than vacuum up the mess it made… how handy!)
And what did everyone want for Christmas…
well, Mom wanted a ironing board,
Dad wanted a hand saw,
Kids wanted Dolly Madison Cookies,
and Ron just gave everyone Chesterfields!
and than there was the ultimate gift…
get yourself a mail order handgun…
you know you always wanted one!
( and you thought the cigarettes were bad )
On the lighter side…
Santa had helpers…
Scrooge sold trees…
and NORAD tracked Santa.
( now we simply use our own Pc/GPS/SAT uplink )
I guess some changes are really good!
At least we still Enjoy Coca-Cola!

maybe it was good Ricky didn’t get that mail order gun…
he might have been tempted to solve his biggest problem… Lucy!
I would have at least winged her a few times.
