"J" makes it all better.

"J" ... will make everything better.

Hello... Do you remember me?
Yep... You're  "J"
How was this past year?
Could have been much better.
That bad?
Yep... Hard to forget.
I can help with that....

Wow... The year went by so fast.
It's pretty much a blur.
Go figure.

If you need  "J's" help...
Just let  "K" know.

Why ask?

Why even ask?

Years End

By Years End... 2024
Number of Blog Post Views
211,010 Views

Sometimes I'm amazed by the number of views my blog gets.
I guess I post things that interest a variety of people.
Originally intended to keep in touch with family & friends, its become more of a journal of things that peak my interest. A place where kids and grand kids could look back on, to know more about me after I'm gone.

It started out as a life on the road... rving in retirement.  Places, people, interests, hobbies and photography.  With an occasional social issue that bothers me. You might say that some of my posts are very philosophical... well maybe.
Some, flights of fantasy. Some possibly controversial. But merely to offer a different perspective... NOT to say that I'm right and you're wrong. Certainly not to offend anyone... which is all too easy in today's society. Take from it what you will... think and believe what you will.
In any event,  hope you enjoy reading my blog.
Stay happy & healthy.

There's Inflation...
Then there's Disney Inflation.

35 forever

35 Forever... That's just fine.

Shake Off 2024.

New Years Milk Shakes

Christmas Good-bye

Could be a lot of things. Several actually.
Foremost,  just looking for 2024 to be over.
So good bye to Christmas...
waiting for a Happy New Year.

Did you see that?

Did you see that?
Out of the corner of your eye?
Then you looked, and nothing was there!
Did you sense or feel something was there?
You looked, and nothing was there!
It happens quite frequently.
and easily passed off as nothing.
Just your imagination?

But... It's there something
REALLY THERE.

Some may think... lotta nonsense.
Some may say... Imagination.

Call it a Sixth Sense...

Criminal Murder

CRIMINAL MURDERERS

Criminal murderers... That have taken the lives of others.
Be it one or many... Sentenced to life in prison.
Bleeding hearts would say that executing them is wrong.
Keep then in prison forever, at great expense & risk.
SO WHY DO THEY DESERVE TO LIVE?

The cost to all the tax payers... NOT a reasonable price!
The prisons are congested with those sentenced to life.
Lessor criminals go free earlier because the prisons are filled.
So murderers never pay the ultimate price, and forfeit their life.
Lessor criminals never get the full measure of justice for their crimes. Early release or never put in prison.

Bleeding hearts would say its not christian to execute killers.
Not really valid... all the killing & murders in the bible.

The expenses of imprisonment coupled with the expenses of executing them. They say it costs more execute killers than took keep them imprisoned for the rest of their lives. In what world does that make any sense?

80. 7  BILLION DOLLARS YEARLY!
Clearly, money that should be used to
benefit those that need and deserve help.
Veterans, victims, health care.

And if that's true... That's it's more expensive to execute than put in prison...clearly they are doing something wrong. But there's always a better more efficient solution. Going back to medieval times or the old west days. The guillotine or beheadings could be a little messy, but sends a strong message to criminals. A bit gruesome.

Now the Old West solution... hanging.
The cost of the gallows... one time, multiple uses.
The cost of the rope... can be used multiple times.
Simple, easy, quick,  no mess... and very cost effective.

$50... Super, long lasting, heavy Rope.

Then there's the ULTIMATE option.
Take their life, harvest their organs to give others life.
But I guess that's too harsh.
Some would say cold hearted.
But not as cold hearted as when they killed & murdered.

But to each their own thoughts and beliefs.
Think what you will.
Believe what you feel is justice.

I will not critize you for thoughts or beliefs.

Just a different perspective.
To consider.

My mind & IQ

My mind like some people, works a bit differently than the average person. A good example: in high school they would give you an  IQ test... more or less for fun. Questions consisted of a list of4 items. They would list the items,  and you had to pick three that belonged together,  and eliminate the one that didn't belong in that group. Most were pretty easy,  some required a bit of thought. There were typically 30-50 questions in total.  Several of my answers were marked wrong. I'd question why they were wrong.  The teacher would explain the three that belonged together and the one item that didn't.  I would explain my answer,  and why a different there belonged together,  and a different one item didn't belong. Wow I was right too, with a different perspective and line of reasoning. He concluded that I was right,  and was somewhat amazed by my reasoning. The test score was corrected... But it was all just for fun anyway. Not so much fun for those that got more than half of the answers wrong.

A different type test question.
How many days of the week start with the letter "T". The usual answer was Tuesday & Thursday.  But the are other possibilities... Like Today & Tomorrow.  Alternative thinking.

The next question:   How many seconds in a year? Now you could get a calculator and go the obvious math... easy. Alternative thinking offered an easier answer without math.  The answer was 12. ???
January 2nd, February 2nd, March 2nd ... etc. 12 is the answer.

The next question: What is Gods first name? Thinking about all the different names for God,  but they were just different names... not a first name. The I remembered... when in church we would sing a song... And the answer became obvious!  It's Andy!  ???
Andy he walks with me, Andy talks with me.  ... Andy!

There's always a different perspective and though process.
It doesn't mean that there's only one answer.

Wouldn't it be boring if we all thought alike?

The Key.... Learn from other perspectives .

Start the New Year

Good way to start the new year...
But why wait?

Cry baby

Call it what you will...
Sore losers?   Cry Babies?

This year seemed to be more noticeable refs calls
that were questionable.  Missed calls seem to be the worse.
Questionable calls... and outright wrong calls.
Wrong calls are the rare, thank goodness.
Consistency is sometimes an issue.

So this year its a common issue.
Some games, most games are called good.
Sometimes its a mixed bag.

Critical moments emphasize questionable calls.
Especially if the outcome of the game affected.

BUT, Having watched the game closely
the refs did a great job overall.
Some things were missed.
There were some inconsistencies... all minor.

And in watching the game, I lost count how
many times the Steelers receivers
Repeatedly kept throwing there arms in the air
trying to get a flag every time they didn't catch the pass.
They were not fouled... cry babies!

Of course... loosing the game... Sore Losers!

Perhaps it comes down to division rivalry.
Perhaps to comes down to character.
EVERYONE STILL REMEMBERS WHEN TOMLIN
STUCK HIS FOOT OUT, ON THE SIDELINE,
TO TRIP THE RAVENS PLAYER RUNNING  DOWN
THE SIDE LINE FOR A TOUCHDOWN.
C H A C T E R ?

Ravens made a lot of great plays!
Steelers turned over the ball on our 1 yard line,
Fumbled... recoverd by the Ravens.
They lost 7 points on their own.
Ravens recovered and scored a touchdown
A 14 point swing.
Steelers lots 7 points
Raven got 7 points.

So since the Steelers lost
they are crying foul.

Of course... ya know...
Social media.

And, if a coach wants to fire up players,
and the fans alike...
Nothing aggravates people more
than to yell foul and claim injustice.
Say it anger for the desired effect.

Repeat it over & over.
And if its perceived unfounded...

Enjoy the label...
Sore loser and
Cry baby.

Go figure.
