Farm corn

October Farm Fields 

 We're out for a little walk just to enjoy nature and the fresh air. The farm fields are full of drying corn stretching over the rolling farmlands. Corn drying out for the upcoming harvest. Just in time for the Halloween season. Fields of dried corn is spooky enough... just add in the mind set of Halloween and a few creepy scare crows... well, you get the idea... very scary. But maybe I just watch to many horror movies this time of the year.  

My friend says... There's a short cut... 

Let's take the path through the fields. 

Looking back... we were warned 2 months ago...

My imagination tells me... No!

It's not enough that he cool breeze gives you a chill,

But the sound of the wind russelling through the dry stalks

Well, its not calming to my imagination. 
But... It will save some time .

And I know in my rational mind that those scarecrows

Are not really moving it's just the wind.

Yep... too many movies.

Got home safe... Nothing to worry about. 
At least until bedtime.

Did I mention how the full moon shining through

the tree outside the bedroom window 

creates creepy shadows moving all around the room?

Yeah that's not scary at all

The Halloween season is so much fun.
