Covid

COVID...

Day 7... getting better little by little.... And I do mean little.
Had all 5 vaccinations .... but still got covid. I guess otherwise,  I'd be in hosital, extreme complications,  or dead.
Had severe relentless cough, raw throat, congestion, body aches, headaches,  tiredness. Face hurts, sinus infection, eyes hurt, upper respiratory infection.
Bp elevated.... SpO2 dropped to 88%... blood glucose elevated over 250 (normally 110)... Occasionally heavy breathing.

Being older, almost 70... the thought of the "end" creaps into your mind occasionally .... and the shocking thought of... "is this it?" I've had a few of those moments lately.

Eat a little, sleep a lot. Don't feel like really doing anything.  All my normal activities are on hold.

Right now... life sucks.

Doctors say that permanent damage is possibly likely and my drop in blood oxygen and increase in blood glucose could remain permanently.  Thus reducing my ability to breathe and a lifetime of fighting diabetes and all its compilations.

An act of God? Nature? Perhaps.  The ongoing ramifications of the virus mutation and spreading... not so much. Those unvaccinated are proving to be a breeding ground not only to keep the virus by mutating to create new threats.

The long, long term outlook... the unvaccinated, by natural selection, will all die off as the virus follows its natural course. Eventually, the virus will be slowly eliminated as only the vaccinated survive.

In the meantime... Are the unvaccinated to blame? And when do personal choices give way to the safety of society at large. A proven fact... Those unvaccinated are directly responsible for the virus spreading and the mutations. So it's easy to believed who is to blame for the ongoing pandemic that like a wildfire will ignite and become more devastating.

But more on that to follow...
But then again... Believed what you will...
Everyone is entitled to their own perspective.
