Most of the news about Disney now is filled with so many changes. If its not the huge price increases it's about all the things that were included with admission before, that there are extra fees for now. Then there's all the things that were discontinued or stopped. And with all the construction everywhere, things are quite the mess. Add to this the crowds and a cumbersome reservation and fastpass system, now called lightening lanes, that are generally everything but fast. Right now you need reservstions to even get into the parks due to them reaching capacity. Back then a normal day at magic kingdom was around 45,000... a busy crowded day 55,000-60,000. The estimated capasity now is 100,000 people for magic Kingdom. Way too crowded for me.
So pardom me if some of my posts are negative about disney. My perceptions are all based on what once was, and what it has become. All the drastic changes.
If you only go to Disney every seversl yesrs, or are a first time visitor you won't realize all the negative changes. So you will probably have no expectations from the past, and have a enjoyable time. For us... the new attractons are a plus... but all the changes would leave us with too many disappointments.
With fond memories of better days...
