On the road again?
On the road again? Full time rving, a life on the road to adventures. Not going anywhere. First there was some medical issues. Then came the covid pandemic. Now the continued pandemic and the Resurgence of the virus negates safe traveling. Will life ever return to normal as the virus continues? Not likely. Nor will things be the same after the virus is under control. Post virus economics and the ever increasing price of everything, including travel, will greatly limit or prevent enjoying the rv lifestyle again. Economically the middle class will be reduced to near poverty, and those already in poverty will get more government handout programs. Healthcare will be overwhelmed and as costs go up and care goes down. Possibilities or probabilities?
Future rving seems less likely. A lifestyle we will certainly miss. But still hopeful.
Priorities
So what's worse? Natural disasters, politicians and their politics, protests, renaming of roads and schools, defacing of monuments and graves, and the daily concerns about covid. In the face of natural disasters and the pandemic resurging, everything else seems rather Juvenile. Drama filled people consumed with the belief that it's all about them. The unvaccinated spreading the virus, because of misinformation or personal beliefs. World wide protests from those that can get the vaccine and don't want it, and world wide deaths by those who want the vaccine and can't get it.
One thing is for sure, no matter their reasons for not getting the vaccine, Attrition through deaths will eventually solve the issue. In the mean time we'll have personal freedoms clashing with the obligations to society to achieve heard immunity and stop the virus.
Long term, those that survive the virus can have life long health issues draining the health system and placing the financial burden on everyone.
Personal freedom of choices verses overall health and safety of society.

Gun Violence
Gun Violence in the cities. Local news highlights this past weekend in DC. Shootings continue to escalate, several people shot including a 6 year old girl that died. Actions and consequences. The past two years people have called for defunding of police. Communities openly condemn police. They hamper police in doing their jobs and protect criminals by not cooperating with police. The atmosphere is that police are the problem and criminals are righteous and actually made into hero\"s for defying police. Not confirmed but human nature... Police are no doubt limiting their response to crime since communities openly condemn police. Now that the criminals are hero\"s verses the police being vilified, violent crime is on the rise. So can communities expect crime to drop when basically condemning police? Criminals get violent and police are condemned for meeting criminal violence with a matched response.
Actions verses consequences. Police action is reduced, it\"s what they advocated and demonstrated for, and violent crime is on the rise. A recent TV poll indicated that 90% of people in DC don\"t feel safe.

Critical Race Theory
Critical Race Theory. It's the buzz phrase lately to bring to light the next phase of racial awareness. I'm sure most people don't exactly know what this entails. Myself included. There are lots of things happening to promote racial equality. There are also many things happing that are NOT what to do when seeking overall support from society as a whole. Riots and violent destructive protests is not a way to get support. In fact it accomplishes exactly the opposite reactions of condemning their actions and hurts the movement to improve social awareness in a positive light. Resentment is the end result. Coupled with the mentality of not caring at all. And that's s a shame... the negative aspects overshadow any positive intent.
But back to Critical Race Theory. It doesn't exactly convey any message or promote any understanding.
CRITICAL : As in a state which borders on a catastrophic possible outcome.
RACE: Ethnic origins.
THEORY : A proposed observation and conclusion that is not yet supported by actual facts.
