Television... and those thrilling days of yesteryear. If you grew up in the 60s... yes... the middle of the past century... You probably remember some of the tv shows that provided hours of enjoyment.
If you're under 50... I can see the OMG look on your face. But for us older folks... It's a bit of a trip down memory lane. Hours upon hours of entertainment... of course, after your homework and chores were done. And let's not forget... after you ate all your dinner... less you sat at the dinner table until bedtime... missing all our favorite shows because of your protest not to eat liver & onions, or brussel sprouts, or kale or spinach, or peas & carrots, or the dreaded broccoli or cauliflower... yuck! Yep... Those were bizarre times. But tv made it all seem better. Pass the popcorn please.
BTW... the was no internet or cell phones, no tablets... no VCRs or DVRs. No cable TV. No video games. No mp3 players. No computers. Tv was in black & white only, and you were lucky to get 3 or 4 channels... there also were no remote controls either. I can still see that OMG look on your face again. But somehow we were much happier than kids seem today. Go figure.
