Peaceful & quiet at night. Moon light & stars, beautiful.
Farm fields at dusk... as the last remnants of light start to fade away.
Imagination turns beauty into something from the darkest part if your mind.
Dried up feed corn fields look spooky enough, but as scarecrows dot the farms... well, you get the picture... It's what horror movies are made of. Nothing to be afraid of here other than your own thoughts. Then you hear strange noises that you can't explain... catch a glimpse of seemingly things lurking in the shadows. You feel like you are being watched. And that breeze of sudden coolness in the air gives you a chill as it rustles through the dry corn stalks making everything around you seem to move. Something brushes the back if your neck... but its just a dry leaf falling in the breeze. Your heightened senses betray you as your imagination runs wild. Yep, you've seen too many horror movies. You want to return to the safety of your car... but what direction was it. A calm panic sweeps over you as your rational mind does little to soothe your emotions. Seemingly an eternity of moments later you are back to your car... safely inside... with the doors locked. If this was a real horror movie the car wouldn't start... You turn the key... The engine comes to life... a huge sigh of relief as you drive away. You survived another journey into your imagination. Happy Halloween... but the worse is yet to come.
