Controversial?

Controversial.... yes in deed.
This is an excerpt from a Facebook post.
Compelling on an emotional level... however not related to one another in any degree.
Any business decision to limit who they sell guns to is in response to recent events that put society at higher risk, which in theory I agree with the effort, not withstanding the fact that the root cause is not the guns, but the person using them... who will find a way to get guns illegally anyway. But true, we don't have to make it easy for them. Got it!
Abortions, though a hot topic, does not pose a threat to society as a whole. It's a personal choice. Got it? It's a personal choice as defined by everyone's freedoms. Not something that religion, and its followers should impose upon others. But historically religions have always, by any means, sought to impose their will, and their beliefs upon society as a whole.
SO WHY IS THIS Comparison between gun control & abortion being made? I guess that an irrational argument can basically do whatever it wants... Because the end justified the means... and forcing religious beliefs upon society must be justified because its what they believe. Teach what you want, believe what you want... politically trying to impose those beliefs on everyone... well, that is what religions from the beginning of time have cause social unrest and controversy.
So just as you have you beliefs, others do not share your beliefs, nor your methods to control others... as everyone else is not forcing religions to anything.
Funny... everyone is suppose to have freedom of religion. Freedom to live your life the way you see fit. Yet religion seeks to take that freedom away from everyone that doesn't believe as they do. Go figure. Oppression by religion for 10,000 years.
