Life is Sweet

The world and its economy revolves around money. Ya certainly need it to live and survive… but what does it cost to truly “live well”. I bet you know the answer. But the answer is becoming more and more diluted by the world around us. Money drives the world, money motivates people, money is equated to bring all happiness. At least that’s what the world would teach you. But what truly brings you joy and happiness, and touches your heart? Just something to stop and think about. Is it really what you have or where you go? Or more importantly who you do it with. If you listed all the things you cherish in life it no doubt always involves family and friends. Yep, it’s great to have that juicy steak at the fancy dinner… or all those crab legs or shrimp… and go to majestic or magical places… but the best memories are who you shared it with. Ahhh… all the places and faces… those smiling memories that bring joy into your life. Simple things like a sunset, or a mountain lake, or your toes in the sand at the waters edge. And sharing it with those that made it extra special… just because they were there. If you are truly blessed, your spouse is you best friend in the world. I am truly blessed. But the blessings don’t stop there… there’s family and friends. Ahhh, I know what you are thinking… but of the best moments and memories in your life… they were made with family that are your best friends, and friends that are your best family. Now there’s the real happiness… that which brings so much joy into your life. And it’s all true… the best things in life are indeed free.

It’s all in your tree of your life.

So… when you think about what you don’t have, also think about what you do have. The best things in life are free. It’s all in what you make of them. So what’s your happiness based on? … and remember what you have. All those special moments shared with others, all the smiles and laughter, all the caring and support, all the fun and joy. Cherish all those moments, that at the time many seem incidental… for soon they may be gone, and slip away forever.

Rving has given us many great and cherished memories with family and friends, that we have shared life’s moments with. Cheers to all the memories, and those that helped make them. Those that influenced are lives and made them fuller. To all we smiled and laughed with. You are all remembered and cherished above anything that money could ever buy.

PS. Take your camera along, have it ready, take lots of pictures… that way, as you get older, and memory fades, you can clearly look back and see memories from your life that made it so sweet.

<<< Smile >>> … snap, snap, snap… got it!

You may even put them on your Blog… for all to see. You may unknowingly bring a smile to some ones face… induce a laugh or two… or simply influence some ones life into a better path… or maybe just invoke a bright moment in their busy day. Ya never know. Myself, I hope for all these things, but also hope that the grandkids, when they are older and want to know more about me, should I not be around, that they can read and learn more about my life. Of course, everyone wants to be remembered and thought of fondly, even if by those you have never met… ya never know what positive influence you may have on others.
