Home Bound...literally. We are visiting Brandi and the three grand girls and staying with them in their house. Yes, a house..we left the Rv behind in storage and are staying with them. Somehow living in a house is not like it use to be. After spending ten years living in our Rv and enjoying that lifestyle, we are back, if only temporary, in a house. As far as feelings go, not what I expected. I guess the first consideration is that it's not our home... all of our things are still back in Florida. Being away from home especially long term ( 10 weeks ) is always different then really being at "home"... No matter how nice and enjoyable the visit with family. So getting that first destination out of the way, there's still the underlying feeling of not only missing "our home"... our Rv ... But also the Rving Lifestyle. So despite the joys of being with family, I miss our Rv, our home, and the rving lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, being with family is absolutely wonderful but it's not home. I guess once you have enjoyed Rv living ya never want to go back to a house. Strange that such an unconventional lifestyle can get into your blood. I've always thought that so long as I was able, I'd live in the Rv forever. May sound strange to some, perhaps even to most... but it's the lifestyle I love. Someday, far off in to the future, a house may be the best solution. But as for now, and as long as I can... ... "Yo ho, yo ho, the Rv life for me".
So lets see if that covers it all.
Missing our home...
Enjoying family...
And a love of the Rv Lifestyle...
If you'd like to know more about the rving lifestyle... Well, I've got several posts on this blog. Easy access, just click on the "label" bar. Hope you enjoy reading about what we love so much. Travel, adventure, new places, and new friends... Always something different. Perhaps that's the greatest appeal. It's always something different. After 30 years of the same job, same house, same location, same people, same everything... Change is wonderful. Wonderful and enjoyable.
Y'all have a great day... Enjoy every moment.
