WARNING: This post contains GRAPHIC PHOTOS OF REAL ACCIDENTS!!!
Well... at least this dead driver didn't kill anyone else.
But it did appear that their final resting place, after the accident was rather ironic.
This is not "movie magic"... This is as real as it gets.
You were WARNED... If you think of these scenes as if they were from a movie... Ya probably wouldn't be too disturbed by them... But this was real. These People died. And these graphic photos are almost as appalling as the senseless waste. So if you are appalled at these photos, and the fact that I posted them, perhaps you should shift you feelings to the real problem at hand. When I was 16, and ready to start driving, we had to watch a movie. I believe it was call "Blood on the Highway". Very graphic, shocking, and disturbing. Perhaps in no small part this movie saved countless lives. Today this would be socially unacceptable to subject young adults to this type of graphic reality. God forbid they would be emotionally scarred for life. Well, at least they might still be alive for seeing such a graphic presentation. But again, if it was a movie scene, it wouldn't be given a second thought. Perhaps they need to be subjected to some real life photos... Or more appropriately real death photos, but then again how dare anyone do this. They grow up in a world that shelters them, make them feel invincible, and playing video games that have no consequences... Ya never get hurt or die... And they are conditioned to never see the real world as having consequences... much less the reality of death while simply driving a car. Most truly believe that this could never happen to them... they're a good driver! Bet everyone that didn't die is rethinking the reality of that way of thinking. The rest? Not thinking anything at all... Cause they're dead! Leaving behind broken families that wonder how this could have happened. It was only a short text... And they don't do it all the time... And it was so short, it only took a few seconds. Here's an actual text sent from the now dead driver... it says it all.
So if you know someone that talks or texts while driving... do them, yourself, and everyone else a favor... Get them to stop.
Think... Decide... Get involved... Act Now!

Traveling through the mid-Atlantic states, and especially Maryland, I still see lots of drivers using the cell phones and texting. It's as if the laws don't exist and the danger is not real.
Sometimes I would count those driving and texting verses those that were not... Generally 1 in 5 drivers were texting while driving... putting everyone else at risk. Guess they forgot or just didn't see the reminders...
Now if the danger was only to the person driving and no one else... Personally I'd say go for it if you must... Just do it on a deserted road, find a nice tree or bridge, or cliff to drive off of. At least you won't hurt anyone else and with your death, no one has to worry about you doing it again and killing someone else.
More realistically, and more socially acceptable, it would be nice if you just stop texting and putting others in danger of death for your careless reckless behavior. It's mostly the "that can't happen to me generation" that thinks this this could only happen to someone else. Sooner or later, a split second gone wrong, and they kill themselves... kill everyone in the car with them... kill, or should I say murder people in other vehicles or bystanders... thus destroying families and lives. Why? ... Just so they can text some stupid little message.
As I said, I care not about what they do to themselves... Why should I, or why should you... They don't care anything about themselves or have any regard for others... so why should anyone else care about them... Except that they MURDER others. And yes, if they survive they are now going to trial for the negligence and face criminal charges. Some recent cases have actually used the drunk driver defense... It's an addiction, they can't help it, it's out of their control, it's a medical condition, they're not responsible. Hopefully you have the good sense to see this for what it is... Need I say more.
If you are still undecided about the consequences and that it couldn't happen to you, because you are such a great driver, lets see the results from that way of thinking.
Here's some photos... WARNING... Some are very graphic. These drivers were wrong... Dead wrong. I can't even tell what type of cars these were... perhaps you can...
And if that wasn't graphic enough.
There's the stark reality that they too felt they were invincible.
The last thing they said to their family.
Here's something you see all the time. Bet they too though it couldn't happen to them.
Some parting photos...
Crashes that no one survived... just so they could send a simple short text message. How important was that text?
