Crab Time… if only it were true.
While all our family & friends in the north are dealing with cold, ice, snow, and just plainly having to endure the winter ho-hums of the north… we are in the sunny south. Warm, sunny weather, palm trees, etc… etc.. etc. So here’s the downside for us. We can’t get crabs or crab cakes here in Orlando… at least none worth having. So while we enjoy the weather… I hope you are enjoying all the great food… have some for us… and you are welcome to brag a little about how good it is… you no doubt owe us that since we have all the great weather here. I’ll be glad to sent you some sand & sun in return for some good crabs… well… guess that’s not gonna happen. So here’s a tribute to what you have… and we do not. If you have never had GOOD Steamed Crabs or GOOD Crab Cakes… you don’t know what you have missed… for the rest of us here in the south… well… there’s an old saying… “is it better to have had crabs and lost them… or to have never had them at all” … Oh the pain!
Here’s the biggest Crab ever Caught!

Lets start here… for those that have never had crabs before…
First you have to catch’em… it’s easy…
I miss crabbing with my buddy Doug…
Out on the rivers by the Chesapeake Bay
We use Crab Pots… drop’em in…
pull’em up with crabs!
Than you fix’em… Maryland Style…
Now this is a Crab!
Then you settle in for hours of enjoyment…
Looks like they’re Smil’in…
I know I would be…
Real Crab Cakes have just enough filler to hold them together
Just close your eyes… focus your sense of taste…
and Enjoy… complete and absolute Taste Bliss!
Nothing… nothing is any better than this…
