Blizzard in Florida

They say truth is stranger than fiction… seeing is believing… and a picture is worth a thousand words. While everyone was experiencing countless snow storms in the north, the south was having weather good enough to go to the beach and swim. Another saying says everything changes… and it did. A once every 200 years snow blizzard hits central Florida. It only snowed for 5 hours overnight and everyone awoke to 18 inches of snow. The temperature had dipped into the 30’s but quickly started rising as the sun came up. What a shocking surprise to everyone. By noon the temperature was nearing 75° and the snow was melting quickly. It was a strange mixture of winter wonderland with all the snow, and people going for a swim in the pools nearby. Needless to say the pools were heated, but it was still strange to swim with all that snow around. There’s the mid-day photo’s before the snow melted away. Truly a sight to behold! The pictures speak for themselves and are guaranteed not to be photo-shopped or altered in any way.
