Seven years later, we connected with coworkers via Facebook. Joe & Kelly from my old home town ( Belair, Maryland ) and the place I retired from ( can’t remember the name now ) contacted me a couple of months ago. Joe is in law enforcement with Maryland’s Finest. They had planned a trip to Disney and we were able to hook up and meet in Magic Kingdom for their visit. It was good to see both of them again as well as the new addition to their family… a cute little lad named Jacob.
It was good to get together after several years and catch up on old times and fill in the blanks left by the past several years. It’s was good to see them healthy & happy seven years later. When you get older you have a tendency to find a bit of satisfaction seeing young people doing well and being happy. We met up at the Magic Kingdom in the afternoon to share a some time together.
The park was decorated for Halloween so the festive colors of the bewitching holiday made the park seem all the more special. Especially since Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year.
Not sure if it has more to do with the candy or the “Tricks”. Okay… mostly the Tricks! … but the candy is good too! It was a great afternoon… and what could be a better place to meet than at Disney.
Won’t be long now… just 10 more days until Halloween!
